Shortly after finding out I was pregnant with my 6th child, I met Jessica at  the Midwife’s Kitchen.    My previous (and only hospital) birth had been emotionally traumatic for me.   I was scared to have another baby  and was not excited for the process at all.    Jessica immediately  put my mind at ease and encouraged me towards a much more positive mindset.    
Each appointment felt like I was catching up with a friend! 
I appreciate that the care I received  from Jessica was not just check ups, but check ins on how I was doing each appointment as well. 
As I passed my due date, Jessica continuously checked in on me and made sure I was still feeling well. 
During my delivery, Jessica was extremely supportive and in tune with my needs and feelings.   She gave me space when I needed space and was right next to me when I needed her encouragement and help.   
I am so appreciative of Jessica and her support during my birth.   I am so grateful to have had a beautiful birth center birth and helping me bring my sweet boy earthside.

Jessica Branch is the most amazing, knowledgeable student midwife! I trusted Jessica with my care for my third pregnancy and delivery after having two stressful and negative pregnancy and birth experiences elsewhere. Jessica demonstrated amazing care, always showing a great level of competence through clear communication, making me feel confident in the care provided. Jessica is a great listener and provided truly compassionate personal care unlike my previous pregnancy experiences elsewhere. I felt as though Jessica took the time to know me and my entire family personally throughout my pregnancy, which made labor and deliver such a comfortable and wonderful experience. Throughout the entirety of my pregnancy, labor, and delivery I never once felt uncomfortable around Jessica and her team. During labor and delivery, Jessica was observant and knowledgeable, noticing my contractions were happening very close together when I arrived at the birth center. Jessica was patient and caring towards me even when I was stoic and quiet, she was watchful and helpful while allowing me the labor without interference. Jessica and her team moved quickly and so smoothly, with calmness and confidence, delivering baby within only minutes of my arrival to the birth center. Care following delivery was nothing but amazing, she made me feel as though I was in control, unlike my previous birth experiences with other providers.

Jessica followed me throughout my last pregnancy. She was there from my first positive pregnancy test confirming my pregnancy, to holding my hand and being supportive when I had a large subchorionic hemorrhage and thought I was losing my son, to catching him and handing me one of the most precious treasures in my life, and all the uncomfortable postpartum healing process. Jessica was a student midwife on my care team during my pregnancy and birth of my son and I was more than impressed with her professionalism, knowledge, how humble she is, her empathy, and her kindness through one of the most beautiful and scariest times in my life. She was incredibly knowledgeable but if she did not know the answer she would not pretend to, instead she would research and do her best to find an answer and was so thorough in her explanations. I cannot wait to hear more about the professional journey of this incredible young woman and can say confidently she will make an outstanding midwife.
